What is Rinnai Error Code 11 or 12?

Troubleshoot your error code:

1) Usually indicates a no ignition or no gas supply on your gas system.
2) Make sure your gas supply is turned on
3) Check the filters grills are clean
4) Make sure the heater is plugged in,
5) Switch off the power for at least 5 seconds then switch it back on.

Gas Heater error code 11 is flashing on the digital monitor of your unit, or on the status monitor if you have a Gas Heater controller installed, the first thing that you should do is check that your gas supply is turned on at the  heater or gas meter.

You can check if your gas supply is working as it should be by turning your gas on and then turning a Gas Heater on. A gas supply issue may be present if the flame on the gas heater pilot drops in pressure, of if your gas heater does not work then there is no gas supply present.
